Annual Review captures hard work
Dozens of Vinnies attended the Annual General Meeting in late October to hear State President Gladys Demissie talk about the incredible year Vinnies has had in supporting the WA community.
Ms Demissie also officially launched the 2021 Vinnies Annual Review, which provides an overview of the Vinnies work and services over the past financial year.
The results speak for themselves. Thanks to our incredibly dedicated and talented members, volunteers and staff, this year we made a very real difference to the lives of over 55,000 Western Australians.
In the past financial year, almost 4,000 Vinnies volunteers and members:
- Received 31,316 calls for emergency assistance and support
- Provided $5.12 million in financial assistance and practical support
- Delivered 19,281 Emergency Assistance items
- Distributed $1.12 million worth of donated food
